This project included the main office air conditioning unit replacement. The mechanical and structural scopes were included for this project. The mechanical scope included replacing (1) existing 5-ton Rooftop Packaged Unit with new unit and Adapter Curb or base-rail, replacing (4) existing 10-ton Rooftop Packaged Unit with new unit and Adapter Curb or base-rail, new ductwork transitions as required, replacing existing condensate drains for 5 upper roof packaged units with New w/Durablock bases, Title-24 mechanical ace[tance testing forms for new HVAC equipment (required by Long Beach), Mechanical permits, Structural engineering review with Calcs and suggested upgrades (if was required) for unit replacements. The structural scope included reviewing plans for the project made available to us, reviewing as-built plans, structural calculations for the support and anchorage of the new units, responding to plan check corrections as was required, assisting the contractor during construction in responding to requests for information and clarifying, and structural drawings.
